Overview
From TV to live theater, The Brit has kept audiences entertained and laughing through the years. Due to clinical demand, he took time away from entertaining to focus on his clinical work. NOW HE IS BACK to entertain once again. Enjoy his Northern British accent!
He has performed internationally on TV, at the famous Improv and Stand Up Live clubs, The Ice House, Comedy Palace and corporate events including Banner Health, Tyler Technologies and Hilton Hotels. He remains a much sought after Headliner and after dinner speaker. He creates shows appropriate for the audience, so both PG-13 and adult shows are available. Versatility is a real talent, and the Brit has oodles of the stuff!

The Brit Comedy Doc performed today for the toughest audience imaginable - a room full of seniors! Except for one lady who forgot to turn her hearing aid on... the Brit was a hit! Everyone loved him. My company, Right at Home, has already booked him for another event next month.

July 15, 2015EXCELLENT - EXTREMELY FUNNY (HILARIOUS)
I hired Brit to perform at my friends dad's 70th birthday party. The audience varied from young to older (elderly). Everyone was laughing hysterically. I was thanked by many people for arranging such a fun event. I only heard positive remarks and everyone agreed that not only is Brit an incredible comedian but he also fits into any crowd. Brit can tailor fit a gig to fit any crowd's needs. Everyone commented on how nice he is. Brit was easy to work with, he was on-time, and he's a really great guy. I highly recommend him!!!

What to expect
My performance is aimed at making people feel happy - life can be challenging; people go to work, bring up kids; have responsibilities in society. Attending my performance allows people to let go for a little while; to have fun - to laugh and see the funny side of every day life. Most importantly, the audience gets to have fun. Lots of fun!
About
I'm The Brit, originally from England in the UK but now based in Arizona, and working worldwide. My show is typically 1 hour long and includes a combination of stand up comedy and audience participation. I perform at various venues around the world and was drawn to pursuing comedy as a career following years as a Dementia Doctor, General Psychotherapist and Clinical Hypnotherapist. There are lots of stories to tell; lots of funny situations - and I have always used my sense of humor in my clinical roles. It helps people big time, even more so than many of the 'pills' often dished out! In addition, being from the North of England, and having Irish parents, means that to survive - and thrive - a sense of humor is a must! I remember my mother saying things like 'In order to get wet, you have to be dry first' and when I asked her the quickest way to her new house she asked 'Are you driving or walking?' Driving was my response. 'That son, is the quickest way.' Is it any wonder I became a comedian?
I have starred in the horror movie Under the Mill 2: Klowny Reunion and played the role of a Paranormal Investigator in the Amazon Prime TV Show Ghost Aholics Crew. You can see my IMDb here: (link hidden)
As a stand up comedian and actor I like nothing better than making people laugh. The ability to turn a frown into a smile, then a giggle, then a full on belly laugh is a gift - and laughter is the best medicine any doctor can prescribe!

Influences and inspiration
I have been influenced by a number of acts. However, Rik Mayall is my comedic hero. Unfortunately, Rik passed from a heart attack in summer 2014, and left a huge gap in the UK comedy scene. Norman Wisdom, Lee Evans and Robin Williams and Joan Rivers have also been great influences and great inspiration too.
