Brigitte - Belly Dancer from Ecuador

Brigitte Saunders was born and raised in Ecuador. She began studying belly dance at the age of eight and developed her talent further at fourteen through professional training and refined techniques. Throughout her artistic journey, she has traveled the world to countries including Peru, Brazil, Argentina, Germany, and Morocco, taking classes with renowned belly dance masters such as Alla Kushnir, Saida Helou, Oscar Flores, and Anna Borisova.

Brigitte studied for five years under Master Teacher Pablo Acosta and graduated as a certified Belly Dance Instructor in Argentina from Mayra Huzid Dance School—the only dance school in the world accredited with the Farida Fahmi certification.

She later opened her own dance studio in Ecuador, where she trained over ten instructors in her unique teaching methodology. Passionate about fostering artistic growth, she organized large-scale events to showcase her students’ talents and expanded her academy to three additional locations across the country. Her students went on to win national belly dance championships and represented Ecuador internationally, earning seven trophies—including first and second place—at the All Dance Orlando competition.

Brigitte now resides in Naples, Florida, where she continues to perform at special events as her schedule allows. Alongside her artistic career, she has become a professional model and influencer. Despite her many pursuits, her love for teaching and belly dancing remains at the heart of everything she does.
