The secret ingredients for Brett’s show are the audience’s own thoughts -- always served up entertainingly and inexplicably. This is NOT hypnosis - his entertainment is a mind trip. This is psychological entertainment that feels impossible.

Audiences will experience demonstrations utilizing the five senses, with the goal of creating the illusion of what feels perhaps like a sixth sense. His mind reading show focuses on the attendees’ own thoughts and there's always plenty of audience participation. Nothing is set up or staged. Brett Barry's goal is to connect the audience, as the show escalates from the interesting to the impossible.

Brett poses the interesting premise of what might it feel like if one could actually pick up on someone’s thoughts. How would it be to somehow just know the name of a stranger’s childhood pet - or the name of an old best friend? Brett’s show is about apparently receiving the audiences’ thoughts (using a variety of skills), and anticipating/ influencing real time decisions to create an entertaining show that leaves audiences speechless. Are the thoughts and decisions from the audience, or are they his? Perhaps they are a mixture of both.

Showbiz is literally in his DNA. Brett’s grandfather Dave Barry spent over 20 years in Las Vegas as the opening act for singer Wayne Newton, and had a significant role in Billy Wilder’s 1959 classic film, “Some Like It Hot.”

Brett attended Emerson College in Boston, and his first job was working as an assistant in LA for producer Norman Lear of “All in the Family” fame. He later went on to have a successful career as a top 1% real estate broker in Phoenix, selling more than 600 homes over the course 25 years. The market collapse in 2008 caused him to rethink his career, so in 2013 he took his magic hobby and reinvented himself as a corporate entertainer plus a creator of numerous tools and inventions used by other performers.

His magical creations have appeared multiple times on America’s Got Talent, The Jimmy Kimmel Show, and stages around the world.
Brett isn’t psychic and says he does not actually read thoughts – he reads people.

By the end of the show he promises that “your thoughts. are mine.”
