We Are Your Band!
Entertainment catering to you!
It’s about you, our audience. You may have an event where you need background music and then later dance music. We have developed this project to adapt to most events. We have played rowdy bars to charity events.
We believe our set list is unique. Lots of great music for all ages. (Sorry no metal or country).
We come “plug and play”. You just need to give us a power outlet. That’s it!
All inquiries welcome, but our customers must come prepared to have fun.

Breaking News wants to be YOUR BAND. We are a great live band offering a wide variety of rock and pop music. Upbeat, uptempo and ready to rock you! We are “seasoned” (including salt and pepper) and have enjoyed entertaining all kinds of audiences. We may be gray, but we are ready to play and slay as the kids say!
Simple Minds, Bowie, Duran Duran, AC/DC and so much more, we have a little something for everyone. (Unless you rock a Stetson or like to really bang your head hard, that’s not us).

We have all the gear! All you need is a great audience with a focus on having fun!
We can rock the basement or the big stage. We have done it all. We adapt to what is required.
Fully electronic allowing us to control sound level to suit the audience and venue.
Our regular lighting package is included. (We can ramp it up for an additional charge)
We Can Register Your Event With SOCAN because artists need to be paid for their work.
