Be immersed in the grooves and melodies of Brazilian Bossa Nova and Samba with some timeless classics such as "Garota de Ipanema", "Chega de Saudade" and more, but also some lesser known songs from the Brazilian repertoire.
Our sets are composed of mostly songs in Portuguese with some translations here and there and instrumental tunes. At times we feature some female singers as well to add to the groovy mix.
The Brazilian Bossa Nova Duo, composed by Lucas De Min and Rodrigo Bonelli.
Lucas De Min is guitarist, composer, singer, and songwriter who blends the rhythms and harmonies of Brazilian music with the precision of classical technique. He brings a unique sound, shaped by a life spent between Italy, Brazil, and now New York City.
Rodrigo Bonelli is a multi percussionist, originally from Rio de Janeiro, known for his impeccable groove, sophisticated taste, and stylistic versatility, Rodrigo maintains a busy performing and recording schedule throughout NYC and the United States. He has been privileged to perform with such renowned musicians as Don Friedman, Ron McClure, George Garzone, and Claudio Roditi.
Our setup is small and we bring our own equipment which is generally composed of a small amplifier, a cajon and a snare drum.
