Brandon did a sensational job! Performed at surprise birthday party. Played two of Kenny G's most popular songs and did an instrumental set. Audience loved his performance.

I asked Brandon to play five songs. The 1st 4 were supposed to be snippets of each leading into the next, with the last song being the full length version of Stevie Wonder‘s Happy Birthday. He appeared to be unprepared, having technical difficulty starting, and with each song you could hear the original version playing 1st before he would start playing. He also, kept missing notes each time he started the songs. Although I didn’t ask him to and I should have he never engaged with the audience (like walking around as he played) but people did get up and dance to 1 song so I was thankful for that and of course everyone joined in on the birthday song. He arrived on time at 8pm, was supposed to start at 9pm and play for 30 minutes (he only played for 15 minutes tops) but with microphone in hand our guest were toasting my husband and went a few minutes (7) over. I did apologize to Brandon for that and he said he was okay with it. So I assumed once they were finished he would be ready to start. I saw his Instagram and thought he would be a great pick, but I did not receive what I saw.

Brandon Robertson is an excellent Saxophonist! His music added the perfect touch to my event!

I don’t think their is enough words in the dictionary that can explain how amazing Brandon played the saxophone at my mother’s birthday party. Hands down the best live instrument performance I’ve ever experienced. The way he played that saxophone was very much soulful and at the same time soothing. He definitely exceeded my expectations. I could seriously listen to him play all day!!! Absolutely beautiful. Very professional, came prepared with his own equipment, prompt, great communication, made accommodations. Highly recommended!
