Overview
I'm a solo saxophonist and currently am/have been an attendee of programs at Carnegie Hall, National Public Radio (NPR), and New England Conservatory, among others. I'm located in greater Boston, MA for much of the year, though I travel back and forth from New York. My primary expertise is in solo jazz and pop repertoire and accompanying DJs, but I'm also happy/capable to sit-in with jazz and rock bands that may need a saxophonist.

September 15, 2024An extremely talented must hire saxophonist
I don’t know where to begin! Brandon absolutely smashed it at a cocktail reception my husband and I threw. Not only is he immensely talented, but he is so professional and kind! He checked in multiple times prior to the event, showed up on time and worked really well with our DJ. Outside of the pop music he played I was blown away at how awesome his accompaniment of Indian Bollywood music was. We have received so many messages about how talented and awesome his sax playing was. 11/10 recommend for your next event!

June 21, 2024SO Fun! Everyone Loved Him!
Brandon is such a kind soul! We hired him for my birthday and he showed up ahead of time, set up, and we never had to worry. He played Sweet Caroline and accommodated many of our other guests' song requests. If you're looking for a saxophonist, I can't say enough. I highly recommend him!

What to expect
With a background in pop, jazz, rock, and country, I bring a personal unique mix to each performance. At your request, whether you're a fan of old standards or the latest pop tunes on the charts, you'll hear a setlist that's dynamic, punchy, and fully customizable to whatever your vision may be!
When I perform solo, I have a medium-sized speaker for my curated backing tracks and accompaniment. This generally is more than enough to create a full, rich sound that fills venues up to 100 persons. You'll witness a seamless blend of live saxophone with high-quality backing tracks, bringing a concert-like experience to your event. I am able to double as a singer (baritone) and a clarinetist, but I specialize primarily in saxophone performance.
If you're a client hiring me, you can expect professionalism, flexibility, and consistency in communication. I am committed to delivering a performance that meets your specific needs, whether it's background music for a more sophisticated gathering or a high-energy set to get the crowd moving. My extensive experience in different musical settings, ranging from intimate solo performances to leading large ensembles, ensures that I can adapt to any event.

Brandon’s vibrant musical talent and leadership make him a compelling addition to any musical event or gig.
Additional booking notes
All I need is a space to set up that's preferably in cover if it is sunny or rainy outside. Depending on the size of the venue (if it is exceptionally large), I may need a microphone hooked up to a larger amplifying system. Everything else (sound, staging) is rather simple, and I can set up myself.

Set list
My set lists are completely flexible. I have done fully improvised sets with DJs, and sets fully curated with songs that my clients hand-pick.
Influences and inspiration
I am influenced by many jazz saxophonists like Hank Mobley, Joh Coltrane, and Dexter Gordon, as well as pop saxophonists such as Dave Koz and Kenny G. I love me some country and rock as well. My music taste is a well-mixed bag!
Setup requirements
For large rooms/outdoors, I work best with external sound systems/DJs. Smaller venues I can provide my own amplification.
