Branco De Souza is a Peruvian-born alternative rock singer-songwriter based in Montréal, Québec. Drawing inspiration from ’90s and alternative rock icons such as Chris Cornell, Eddie Vedder, Jeff Buckley, and Thom Yorke, his music blends raw emotion, grunge-infused power, and spiritual fire—transforming desire, pain, and inner struggle into love, truth, and light.

In 2019, Branco graduated from Vanier College with a DEC in Professional Music, specializing in performance.

His musical journey has brought him to important stages across Montréal. In 2017, Branco and his band, Spectroom, performed at the Montréal Pride Festival. In 2024, he had the opportunity to sing in Gregory Charles’ choir for his concert project Projet 7, adding another meaningful experience to his musical journey.

Beyond music, Branco is deeply spiritual and sees art as a vehicle for transformation. His mission is to spread love, truth, and light through music, inspiring listeners to face their inner struggles, transcend their limitations, and reconnect with their authentic selves.

Performance Format

Branco De Souza can perform as a solo singer-songwriter or with a full band, depending on the event and venue.

Sound

* Professional PA system appropriate for the venue and audience size
* For smaller or more intimate gigs, Branco can provide his own portable sound equipment and speaker system when appropriate
* Vocal microphone and microphone stand
* DI box for acoustic/electric guitar when required
* Stage monitors or in-ear monitoring for larger performances
* Full-band performances require appropriate inputs and channels for vocals, guitars, bass, drums, and other instruments
