To ensure a smooth and successful bar setup, here are the technical requirements and important details for our services:

Bar Setup Requirements:
Space Requirements: A minimum of 6x6 feet of level, stable space per bar station. Larger events may require multiple stations or a larger footprint.
Access to Water: Close proximity to a water source is helpful for maintaining cleanliness during service.
Electricity: Access to a standard electrical outlet if bar lighting or electric mixers/blenders are required.
Lighting: Sufficient lighting in the bar area is essential for the safety and efficiency of our bartenders. For evening or outdoor events, string lights, spotlights, or other ambient lighting should be provided.

Staging & Equipment Needs:
Cover or Shade: For outdoor events, a shaded or covered area (e.g., tent, umbrella) is required to protect bartenders and equipment from direct sun, wind, or rain.
Stable Work Surface: We’ll need sturdy tables or bar counters to serve from. If unavailable, portable bar rentals can be arranged through us or recommended vendors.
Parking and Load-In Access: Designated parking and easy access to the venue are crucial for timely setup and breakdown.

Client-Provided Items (if not included in package): Alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and ice (we provide a detailed shopping list upon request).
Glassware or disposable drinkware, unless arranged through our service.
Trash and recycling bins near the bar area.

Timing:
Setup & Breakdown: We require at least 1 hour for setup and 1 hour for breakdown. Additional time may be needed for larger events or elaborate setups.
Service Time: Bar services typically run 5 hours, with optional extensions available.

Insurance: Bottoms Up Bartending is fully insured and can provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) to venues upon request.

With these requirements in place, we’ll deliver a seamless and stress-free bartending experience that leaves a lasting impression on your guests. Let us know if you have any specific concerns or unique venue requirements—we’re happy to accommodate!

Setup requirements

Bar Area: A stable, level surface for the bar setup with adequate space for bartenders to work efficiently.

Electricity Access: If required for any bar equipment (e.g., blenders, lighting), access to power outlets near the bar setup.

Shading or Covering: For outdoor events, sufficient shade or cover to protect the bartending area from weather elements (sun, rain, wind, etc.).

Parking & Load-In Access: Reserved parking and easy access for loading in equipment and supplies.

Alcohol Supply: All alcohol must be provided by the client.

Glassware or Disposable Cups: If not included in your package, the client must provide sufficient quantities of wine glasses, champagne flutes, and/or plastic cups for cocktails.

Venue Approvals: Ensure the venue permits outside bar services and that any necessary permits are obtained.
