About
BO’s Smokey Sticks is a family-owned, Black-owned comfort food truck based in Garfield Heights, Ohio. Known as the Home of the Stuffed Turkey Legs, BO’s Smokey Sticks serves a variety of turkey-based dishes, sandwiches, and classic comfort food sides with a special touch of flavor that keeps customers coming back.
The idea for the food truck began in 2019 during a challenging time for the Bogard family when their eldest daughter became ill. Wanting to spend more time together while creating something meaningful, the family decided to start their own food truck business. What began as a way to stay close as a family soon grew into a passion for sharing great food and memorable experiences with the community.
Today, BO’s Smokey Sticks travels throughout Northeast Ohio serving flavorful turkey leg meals, pulled turkey sandwiches, turkey tips, and comforting sides like mac & cheese, collard greens, Cajun black-eyed peas, yellow rice, and cornbread dressing. The team focuses on creating food that feels both exciting and familiar while delivering warm, friendly service at every stop.

BO’s Smokey Sticks is a fully self-contained mobile food truck capable of serving events of many sizes. We typically require a flat parking area with approximately 30–40 feet of space for the truck and a safe area for guests to line up and order.
Our truck is self-powered and usually does not require external electricity. We bring our own equipment and staff to operate the food service. Setup typically takes 30–60 minutes prior to service time.
To help create a welcoming atmosphere, BO’s Smokey Sticks also plays smooth background music during service, adding to the overall experience for guests while they enjoy their meals.
We regularly serve corporate events, school functions, festivals, private parties, and community gatherings. Final details such as guest count, service time, and menu options will be confirmed in advance to ensure efficient service for your event.
