March 9, 2023My husband and I found Bop Shop while browsing for local Miami bands on Instagram. What we saw online was exactly the vibe we wanted for our wedding, and we were so happy we went with them. Steven, the band leader, was so easy to work with: responsive, and caring.
We also reached out to two different people on Instagram Bop Shop had played for at their weddings, and their experience had been great. We can't agree more. Our experience with Bop Shop was a breeze, and they bring great energy to any room! Recommend 10/10!

July 26, 2022I hired Bop Shop Brass Band for my brothers wedding as he is a musician and I thought would make the best surprise. The band EXCEEDED my expectations. The came out with so much energy as they led the wedding guests on a wedding parade throughout the venue. They played a mix of traditional New Orleans style songs with some modern ones that really hyped everyone up. Besides their indisputable talent, it was obvious from their faces how much they enjoyed playing which reflected onto the guests who did not stop dancing. They were all so incredibly nice, especially the band leader Steven, who I had the pleasure of communicating with throughout the planning. It was truly the best part of the wedding; I only wish I had more excuses to hire them again. They were absolutely fantastic!

The Bop Shop consists of five core members with an instrumentation of trumpet, trombone, sax, tuba and drum set/drums. Our sound is big enough fill up a room with zero amplification, but we can also be mic'd. A specialty of ours is taking songs from artists like Michael McDonald and Outkast and revamping them for our brass band with a funky, New Orleans backbone.
We also have plenty of experience playing New Orleans-themed events and have a wide repertoire of NOLA classics to play from. If you looking to move your party from one location to another, what better way to do it than with your own Brass Band!
