Boomslang is a classic music duo, primarily acoustic with some electric guitar versions of beloved tunes. From the Beatles to Glen Campbell to Tom Petty, we have a wide variety of tunes to perform. Rob and Scott are formerly the two primary guitar players from the successful San Diego County based band Mirage. Mirage, a five-piece band, was together for 12 years and performed throughout San Diego County, as well as Orange County. Mirage provides a full P.A. system, break music, our instruments, and basic stage lighting for your private party, restaurant or nightclub. Rob and Scott both sing lead and provide each other backing vocals. We look forward to performing at your venue or event!

Whether the performance calls for 2 sets or 4 sets of music or more, Boomslang aims to please and always gives 100% to its audience. Set lengths generally run between 45 minutes to 1 hour, with a 15 minute to 30-minute break between sets, depending on the venue requirement, or client request. We are very flexible. During breaks, the band will provide recorded music to keep the energy going.
The band Mirage had a great run, 12 years! That would include two covid years, which I'm sure you all know about. Well, Mirage
has disbanded. From the ashes rises Boomslang, an acoustic and some electric duo, with the two primary guitar players of Mirage.
We have crafted setlists of classic tunes that lend themselves well to a duo performance and so far, people love it! In addition, we like to throw in a couple original tunes to make it even more fun. Just a few of the artists that Boomslang performs are, The Beatles, John Denver, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Eric Clapton, The Moody Blues, The Mamas and the Papas, Van Morrison, The Monkees. I won't list the rest, as I don't want to ruin the surprises! Both Scott and I have played in a number of bands spanning decades. We really

The members of Mirage have numerous musical influences, many of which are reflected in our setlist.
