Bonnie Deeds had been great to work with. I hired her for a violin and cello duo for my wedding April 8, 2017 and they performed beautifully! The perfect touch for my outdoor wedding. She was extremely educated and skilled in her repetouir and I was extremely pleased with their performance. Thank you Bonnie and crew for helping make my dream wedding a reality.
Perfection from Bonnie and her team! They were very accomidating and easy going. Couldnt have gone any better!
Bonnie was incredibly nice and professional from the moment we contacted her. We were updated and in contact along the way as we planned this event. Her prices were reasonable and she provided us with a personal arrangement along with several other songs. The guests were all impressed with the music and we couldn't be happier with how beautiful it turned out. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good price for top of the line musicians.
They did an amazing job... Great Music Great performance.... Worth every dollar!
So talented and amazing throughout the whole experience. I enjoyed working with Bonnie so much. She communicated so well and made my wedding ceremony truly magical!
Bonnie did an oustanding job! She arrived on time and was ready to go. The event went wonderful and everyone loved her she did not even take a break!
Bonnie was wonderful to work with. She was very professional and prompt. I added the cello to the performance weeks after my initial contact with Bonnie and it was no problem at all. the music was beautiful and fun. The Cello/Violin music selection was fabulous. Well worth every dime. I wish Bonnie much success in the future and maybe one day we can again work together. Bonnie is most certainly on my speed dial after her magnificent March 9th performance. Thanks again Bonnie! Ye'all were awesome!!
It is with great enthusiasm that I recommend Bonnie Deeds. As a conductor, I have hired and collaborated with Bonnie continuously over the course of the last four years and have found her to be both a delightful performer and person. Consistently prepared, fair priced, and always performing to the highest caliber, Bonnie and her ensembles have always impressed me. I recommend her and her work without hesitation.
Sincerely,
Michael Reedy

A native of Western New York, Bonnie Deeds was raised with a rich sense of the fine arts. She began her violin studies at age 5, and began orchestral studies just two years later. She has been performing in solo, chamber and orchestral settings for over two decades.
Bonnie holds a Dual Master’s Degree in Music Performance and Chamber Music from University of South Florida School of Music, where she served as Violin Teaching Assistant for three years to celebrated violinist Dr. Carolyn Stuart. While completing her violin studies, she additionally refined her work on viola, performing with various chamber ensembles throughout the Tampa Bay region. She has taught privately on both instruments for over ten years. Bonnie received her Bachelor’s Degree from the State University of New York, Fredonia School of Music, where she studied with renowned violinist and teacher Janet Sung and was a four-time recipient of the Isaac Stern Award for Excellence. A strong supporter of contemporary composition, Bonnie has debuted multiple new works for violin, singing violinist, viola, chamber ensemble, and orchestra.
Bonnie has performed in masterclasses with artists including Michael Ludwig, Lawrence Dutton (Emerson String Quartet), Geraldine Walther (Takacs Quartet), Jeanne Lamon (Tafelmusik) and Jeffrey Multer. Festivals in which she has participated include Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival, Sewanee Summer Music Festival, New York State Summer School of the Arts, and Hot Springs Summer Music Festival where she performed Vivaldi’s Spring Concerto with the Festival Orchestra as one of the season’s concerto competition winners. Bonnie has served as concertmaster, principal second violin, and section violin/viola of multiple chamber and orchestral ensembles throughout New York, Pennsylvania, Montana, Virginia and Florida.
Frequently performing in various chamber ensembles, Bonnie’s work spans early music through to contemporary compositions. In addition, she has performed on tour and national broadcast with acts such as Michael Bublé, Josh Groban, Disturbed, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Il Volo, Irish Tenors and Celtic Woman.
Additional teachers include Monica Germino, Thomas Halpin and Gregory Docenko. She performs on an 18th century instrument that has been in her family for nearly a century.
-How much performance space is required? This varies greatly depending on the selected ensemble. Space availability questions and options can be handled through the venue hosting the event once the desired ensemble is selected.
-Acoustic or Amplified? Classical string instruments (violin, viola, cello) rarely require amplification for events such as weddings, cocktail hours, in-home performances, etc. However, certain large venues and ensemble variations will require some amplification. We offer a small selection of amplification options when necessary, and are able to work with various venues to achieve the necessary enhancement to reach the desired effect.
- Outdoors or Indoors? For many events, the great outdoors provides the perfect back drop. We, too, love to perform in the open air. However, due to the sensitivity of classical string instruments, we greatly appreciate the client's willingness to meet certain requirements for set up/location. Most commonly, a shaded performance area (direct sunlight/excessive heat is damaging to the instrument's varnish) and protection from precipitation (we encourage a "Plan B" location in case of unpredictable weather).

The beauty of music often lies in its breadth of variety. From Bach to Bowie, Yehudi Menhuin to Howlin' Wolf, The Who to The XX- many musicians, composers and bands have influenced the musicians I and my performing partners are today.
