Overview
BYOB – Bone Yard of Brass is a brass band with a modern New Orleans rock/funk/pop/latin/jazz style that is based in Huntsville, Alabama. We are comprised of drumset, helicon, and a bunch of trombones! I mean…what doesn’t scream party when there are a bunch of trombones?

About
Bone Yard of Brass (BYOB) is a New Orleans-style brass band with a twist. No trumpets. No saxophones. Just a wall of trombones, a helicon, and drums holding it all together. Based in Huntsville, Alabama and performing internationally, BYOB blends the groove of funk, the swagger of jazz, the soul of pop, all with the attitude of a second line parade.
We’re not your typical brass band. With a lineup built entirely around low brass and rhythm, our sound is bold, brassy, and a little unhinged…in the best way possible. Whether on a street corner, a festival stage, or somewhere unexpected, we show up ready to blow (literally).
Because honestly… what says “party” better than a whole gang of trombones?

The most important part for us is enough room to perform. We are an eight piece band. Six trombones, One Helicon, and Drumset.
