We had a fantastic experience with Bollywood California for my husband's milestone birthday celebration! They were able to create a captivating atmosphere with the Bollywood music and their lovely attitude. Their attention to detail, coordining with us and the DJ, and early setup at the venue showcased their professionalism. What to expect
We arrive 1-2 hours prior to a booked time to set up depending on the space, access to the performance area and the size of the sound system required for your event. For a surprise marriage proposal, setup is 2 minutes. For a party with 500 guests, setup is 2 hours. You'll need to provide a 6' x 8' space with access to electricity. A typical booking is 1-2 hours. For weddings, that could include the ceremony and cocktail hour. For corporate events, that could include cocktail hour and dinner. For house concerts, they tend to be under an hour. Our repertoire includes both popular Bollywood songs and Western pop favorites.

BOLLYWOOD CALIFORNIA is two violinists who blend the vibrancy, energy and glamour of Indian popular songs with the easy charm of the Golden State - lyrical romantic songs and upbeat dance numbers - the perfect addition to weddings, corporate events, receptions and any excuse for a party.
A typical service could include the wedding guest arrival for cocktail hour and add on for pre-dinner/dinner background music. We are very popular for at-home, restaurant and banquet room birthday parties, too. We serve parties from 2-300 guests with our custom, expandable sound system and can work directly with your DJ to get even more sound coverage for large events.

Additional booking notes
We will need a 6' x 8' space with easy access to electricity. We provide our own modular sound system that can be adjusted to fill any space from a living room to a ballroom. For very large events, we can patch our sound into the venue’s audio system. Since we customize our system to fit your space, we can easily perform at a comfortable level for your guests in an intimate space or bring appropriate equipment for stages and large spaces. All you need to provide is the performance space (at least 6 X 8 for small events).

Influences and inspiration
We love to play popular contemporary Bollywood songs. We especially enjoy songs by Arjit Singh and A. R. Rahman because they suit string instruments so well. We also perform Western songs by artists like Taylor Swift, Elton John, Disney, Ed Sheeran, John Legend and Elvis. We are constantly expanding our repertoire to include both lyrical, romantic songs and peppier dance numbers, so we can bring exactly the energy you desire to your event.
