I am a solo guitarist/singer with over 35 years of experience performing in Hotels, Restaurants, Bars, Cocktail Lounges, and Private Homes. I play a wide array of styles and types of music from Oldies to Rock, R&B to Country, Ballads to American Standards.
I am available to perform at any and all private parties, birthday parties, weddings, anniveraries, and special events.

Bobby John was absolutely incredible! He was a solo acoustic performer for our wedding ceremony and reception in Santa Monica. He was able to learn Here Comes the Bride and Canon in D and performed it perfectly. We couldn’t be more happy with his performance.

Bobby John was wonderful! I highly recommend his services. He even went out of his way to learn some Spanish songs for the birthday serenade. I called Bobby John last week on a very short notice since my brother's Interment date was changed due to my daughter's earlier arrival from Northern CA. I gave Bobby John a list of songs that my brother had liked He not only performed these but added some more classical tunes.-His performance was beyond expectation and I got the compliments from the attendees that he deserves to get at a solemn memorial service like the one we had - I highly recommend Bobby John for his musical talent and his great performance that we observed at our service- Thank you for making the event more joyful as I had imagined !

We had very good music with Bobby John as he customized our selection of Italian Music for a family event. The only improvement would be that a microphone (wireless) should have been used for those in the middle and back area. Other than that, he is recommended for hire.

What to expect
I am a true professional. I am very conscientious, punctual, prepared, and friendly. If a client has a certain song request, I learn the song and perform it to the best of my ability. I do not abuse my break time. The performance always come first.
I currently perform at many local nightclubs, restaurants, and hotels; not to mention private parties and events and also at select assisted living facilities.
About
I have been playing music all my life. I started out playing the accordion when I was 5 years old and took up the guitar when I was 12. My very first gig was a neighbors kid's birthday party. We got paid $5.00 each. There were 6 of us. Wow. We were rich. I fell in love with playing music right then and there.
I got to the point where our band got to be so good that we were hired to back up Dobie Gray ("The In Crowd"), The Drifters ("There Goes My Baby", "Up On The Roof", "Under The Boardwalk"), perform at the Teenage Fair in Hollywood, perform at The Teenbeat Club in Las Vegas, Nevada (every summer for three years), open for "The Ike and Tina Revue" at Pierce College, and many other memorable gigs.
I decided to go it alone and performed steadily ever since in many nightclubs and restaurants in and around Orange and L.A. Counties. I also provide music and entertainment for assisted living patients in senior living venues. I have had the great opportunity to play with many other musicians and singers through the years as a duo, a trio, and as a 4 piece. I still perform with others.
