The Blue Lotus Dancers have been mesmerizing audiences since 2005 with their designer costumes, impressive group choreography, and cultural understanding. Under the direction of Emalee Morem (also on Gig Salad), they are available for hire across the midwest for festivals and special events such as weddings, birthday parties, or any celebration that wants to increase its level of fun.
The Blue Lotus can offer a group performance with anywhere between 2 and 6 dancers. Their shows fuse classical and modern Raks Sharki (Bellydance) as well as theatrical props such as Isis wings, fanveils, and sword with audience participation to create a memorable performance for any occasion!

The Blue Lotus Middle Eastern Dancers have been dazzling Minnesota with their dancing since
2005. They specialize in contemporary raqs sharqi (bellydance) and also perform regional styles
of Arab dance, incorporating contemporary trends in music, movement, and costuming with
traditional styles of the dance to create dynamic performances that the whole family enjoys. The
Blue Lotus Dancers perform at special events like weddings, birthday parties, festivals, and
community shows as well as their own productions in the Twin Cities. Notable recurring performances include: the Minneapolis International Festival, Brooklyn Park Arts Festival, The Festival of Asian Nations, and more. They travel throughout the midwest for parties and fairs (such as the North Dakota Renaissance Fair) and you can occasionally catch them at Twin Cities Restaurants such as the Mediterranean Cruise Cafe, and MITO Latin Entertainment Restaurant. They specialize in theatrical performances as well and love to make an appearance at themed parties.
