Overview
Blue Forest Strings brings heartfelt music to weddings & events of every size, from intimate garden ceremonies to ballroom celebrations.
Led by the Principal Viola of Alabama Symphony & a longtime violinist with the Las Vegas Philharmonic, our musicians have performed with Las Vegas Philharmonic, Phoenix Symphony & Alabama Symphony etc.
Beyond classical music, we have performed with Andy Grammer, Sheryl Crow, Eagles, Pink Martini, The Beach Boys etc.
As highly seasoned studio musicians we can be heard on soundtracks of major films & commercials.
We are graduates of the Eastman School of Music, Indiana University Jacobs School of music & San Francisco Conservatory of Music.

I contacted them a month or less before our wedding and gave a list of worship songs to play… it was BREATHTAKING. Every note, every strum, just perfect. Hui did a wonderful job and I would definitely recommend hiring for any wedding or event in the future. 10/10!!!

We booked Blue Forest Strings to perform at Threshold, the community arts arm of Montevallo Presbyterian Church, and requested a thoughtfully curated program blending classical works, hymns, cinema selections, and contemporary music. They exceeded our expectations in every respect. The musicianship was exceptional, and the experience resonated deeply with everyone in attendance—many describing the evening as “nurturing for the soul.”
Performed by candlelight, the concert felt intimate and perfectly suited to the space. We would welcome the opportunity to host Blue Forest Strings again and highly recommend them to anyone seeking a string quartet that delivers both artistic excellence and a meaningful, memorable experience.

Our goal is to make the entire experience effortless and enjoyable, so you can relax and savor every moment!
Our duos, trios, and quartets perform acoustically, requiring only chairs for our musicians. For solo performances, we provide a small sound system when appropriate for the venue.

We have performed with the Las Vegas Philharmonic, the Boise Philharmonic, and the Phoenix Symphony, amongst others. We can be heard on various albums and soundtracks of artists, films and commercials.
