August 27, 2018Saw this band at the Mustard Seed In Akron, the place was packed and they were great! The band manager was so professional and came to our table and asked if we were enjoying the show? He gave us his card and I booked him for my upcoming wedding, can't wait to hear them again!

March 15, 2018We hired Blu Pi to play at our wedding back in September 2017. They were absolutely sensational! Our guests had an amazing time, and were very complimentary of the band even well after the big day. Working with Jai, the band manager, was so easy. He was easily accessible and very easy to work with, specifically there were some electrical challenges at the venue as we did an outdoor ceremony, however, Jai was the man! Oh, and these guys are super talented musicians. We had a blast and would hire them again in a second. Their value can not be overstated. Thank you Blu Pi for meeting and far exceeding our expectations on our most important day.

August 14, 2017I had a amazing time being able to depend Blu Pi . Most friendly and helpful people ever, Lots of small things added up to the best imaginable time. Couldn't have been more sweet, giving me space to organize and function with them the way I needed to. They were on time, quick to respond every time I've called throughout the process, very organized and the music was fantastic. All the band members had their own individual touch that made the talent become untouchable. All I wanted out of my dream wedding was a nice jazz band playing while I enter into my reception venue and they made that dream happen for me even at a reasonable price. My husband was very pleased with their services and if any one we know need music for their wedding we would definitely recommend BLU PI!

August 30, 2016So often we relate the color Blue with sadness but this Blu Pi band left me feeling good and happy!!! The female sax was a nice touch!

The band is made up of 5 musicians Josh W (Music Director), Jon, Josh B and Joe and piano sensation Kofi Boakye (by request only) as well as 2 amazing vocalist (Male & Female), Rau-Elle and Mary. The band also features their own personal certified security. Blu Pi started off as a math study group who later discovered that they had more in common than numbers and greek symbols. Each of them were active musicians in one way or the other and at the request of a classmate, they decided to be the live entertainment for a wedding. The group was later discovered by Grammy Winner Ceelo Green on youtube and a local booking company took over all promotions and bookings and they have not slowed down since! The band love for music is the true source of their chemistry but the bound they have as friends is what keeps them together. Booking them is easy as Pi.
