Blimprov Comedy

Blimprov is not your grandma’s improv. Not that your grandma had improv when she was growing up. But maybe she did. Maybe she grew up in a really cool neighborhood where there was a group of kids of a variety races, creeds and ages just improvising in the streets. Maybe she’d walk by them (uphill in the snow both ways) and see the furious pace at which they explored relationships and stayed away from the low hanging fruit of the cheapest and easiest of jokes. It’s possible she watched them play together because they actually love and respect each other as actors AND people. If this is true, then it’s very possible that she saw the very first Blimprov show. And in that case, Blimprov actually IS your grandma’s improv.

Beginning in Fall of 2006, the group came together to continue their training and performing of the art of improvisation. The first show was February 2, 2007, and since then Blimprov proudly presents the central valley with professional improvisational comedy.
