BLACK&BLEU brings an engaging show with both retro feel and modern elements. Blending electronic with analog, technology but with real genuine emotion and performance. BLACK&BLEU performs music that people often dance to, and thoroughly enjoy. You might not know our songs, but the emotions evoked are very familiar. It's a fun, snappy and professional show. Lots of eye contact, crowd interaction, polite mannerisms and cool gear. We think you'll really enjoy it.

BLACK&BLEU fuses the diverse influences of 80’s New Wave with modern Punk, Electronic, Pop and Rock. Utilizing a combination of analog and digital instruments and vocal modulation processors, the band strives for a sound with a nostalgic flavour and modern appeal. The result is a unique blend that is refreshingly fun and catchy.

The bulk of our sound is back tracked/sequenced (bass, rhythm synth and percussion sounds), so in terms of mixing, the tracks need to be right at the forefront, and not buried or muddy.

The front monitors must receive ample volume of these back tracks/sequences.

We have one DI box for our sequencer setup, but require an additional DI for our synth.

Our vocal pedal is optional. If Reverb and Delay is present and active on Sound Desk at venue, we do not use it.

We require ample power at front of stage for large pedal board, and for synth and sequencer setup.
