November 21, 2022Julia and the ladies were amazing! We had a speakeasy-themed event and Black Iris Collective fit the theme perfectly! They're outfits were stunning - long 1920's gowns, with short cute bobs, and the fur accents were the icing on the cake! Our group loved you!

April 23, 2022I had to pleasure of seeing Black Iris Collective this past week and had my mind blown away! They are an extremely talented group of woman with amazing voices and stage presence. They did a rendition of Gangster's Paradise that pleasantly took me by surprise! If you haven't already, find an opportunity to see these performers live!

March 20, 2021We had Black Iris Collective at our nonprofit BCC Evolution’s Annual Gala this year on Feb. 20th, 2021 which was themed as a Masquerade Ball. It was a quick timeline as we were unsure if the event would happen with all the restrictions, however we were able to pull it all together and make it happen. Black Iris Collective were so professional, dressed beautifully and in the theme. They have their own sound tech and equipment which was super important in our case. They really helped make the night so magical and Julia Tobey being our MC for the night, she was amazing, funny and so entertaining. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. You all really made the night a night to remember. We will definitely be reaching out for future events. Highly recommended!!!

Female led Fusion Band Black Iris Collective combines a live vocal trio with a full band or a DJ with tracks for a totally unique and head-turning audience experience.
Completely custom and inventive three-part harmony arrangements - inspired by Postmodern Jukebox and Today's Top 40 artists - drive their musical sets.
Founded by Julia Tobey of Give 5 Productions and The Beverly Belles, the popular group sings all over the U.S. and they are the resident band at Denver’s “modern Gatsby” Cottonwood Club.
They excel in turnkey 1920s and pop entertainment experience bookings for corporate and private clients.
Their favorite collaboration to date was singing “Chandelier” by Sia at Vehicle Vault in Parker, CO with acclaimed all female electric string quartet and comrades, Spinphony.
The group’s name was inspired by the feminine power of Georgia O’Keeffe’s revolutionary painting entitled “Black Iris”, 1926.
