As a singer-songwriter, recording artist and performer, I thrive in venues, events and spaces created for artists that perform original music. In my sets of I often mix in tasteful covers that flow nicely (example: Neil Young, Bonny Light Horseman, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Michael Nau). I've played many different kinds of shows, events and special occasions and at all of them I give everything I've got. If I am what you're looking for, I'd be happy to talk with you and mark your date(s) on the calendar.

May 5, 2023I had B.J. as an opener for my concert series, and he completely won over the audience with his incredible passion and emotional vocals. There were over 700 people in an outdoor environment and he held them in his thrall for his entire set with just his voice, his songs and the heart on his sleeve. He is also an amazing human being. I highly recommend him.

B.J. Fisher is a Midwest singer-songwriter known for his dynamic performances, striking voice, and soulful songwriting. Emerging from Wisconsin and now based in Chicago, B.J. blends indie-folk sincerity with rock and roll energy, crafting songs that resonate with emotional depth and melodic charm.
In 2021, B.J. released his debut single, “Nothing At All,” via Radio Milwaukee. The track earned praise for its honest, buoyant indie-folk sound and was accompanied by an evocative, train-hopping music video. His 2022 debut album, Night Reminder, further showcased his wide musical range and lyrical depth. Piet Levy of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel wrote: “Through its patience, and Fisher’s songwriting strength, Night Reminder slows your pulse and draws you in.”
He followed the album with the Roaming Red EP, a spirited collection of rock and roll love songs born from the same creative sessions. B.J. has shared the stage with acclaimed acts including Trapper Schoepp, The Well Pennies, Kyran Daniel and Fantastic Cat.
