Bird & Bloom's services include event design and planning, handcrafting, and photoshoot styling. We handle everything to make your event a come to life including vendor recommendations and coordination, look and feel, decor, favors, and paper goods.
With a background in advertising and marketing as well as costume design and musical theater, Rachelle Brookshire, the proprietor, is a creative jack of all trades. While attending The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), Rachelle began working in the costume department, eventually becoming Shop Manager and later a Costume Designer. Rachelle has designed and assisted on Off Broadway productions, an online IFC short, a NY International Fringe Festival production as well as educational theater. Conterminously, she established a nine year career in advertising and marketing focusing on commercial, retail and residential real estate. During this career Rachelle planned many brokerage events and expanded her design skills. Her combined experience has allowed Rachelle to develop a strong arsenal of planning tools, a strong sense of design and a whimsical aesthetic. Rachelle earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater from The New School. She is also the mother to the light of her life, her one year old daughter.
