Bill's piano skills are fabulous. He was equally adept at jazzy Christmas music and classical. He accompanied a number of our guests in carol singing. He also played tunes that were season appropriate but no not necessarily religious. All in all Bill made the difference between a nice Christmas party and a wonderful experience.
Response from Bill Gati:
Jeff's Holiday Party was wonderful. His family and friends were very warm and welcoming. I played for six hours with periodic breaks, but the time just flew by. The setting in rural Lyme, CT. was picturesque with a fresh coat of snow, and beautiful views of the Sound. It was truly a blessing to make this event a memorable and special occasion.
Yesterday was my daughter's wedding. Bill Gati played the organ and the piano for the church ceremony. I had asked him to play for us after hearing him at a Sunday service. He was amazing. The music was perfect, a mix of organ and piano to play both traditional and American standard songs. In addition to being such a musical talent, Bill is an incredibly nice guy who is a pleasure to work with. He helped us greatly in choosing the songs that were used during the ceremony. The result was a wedding program that truly reflected the bride's personality and taste. I was very happy with my choice of Bill for the wedding and would strongly recommend him.
Bill and his band are very professional and talented musicians. They are kind, respectful, flexible, passionate about their work. It has been a real pleasure and honor for me to work with them. This jazz band is a rarity in our days and the guys didn't only preserve great music of and feel of 1920s but also integrity and honor of that epoch, and these things are a rarity these days. The experience was like if I was using a time machine and went back a century in time.
I truly enjoyed the experience and I highly recommend them!
Bill Gati's Jazz Trio gave a wonderful performance for the Valentine's Concert sponsored by the Friends of Maple Grove Cemetery. Bill, on piano, along with Chris Pistorino on Bass and Rob Garcia on Drums let our spirits swing with love songs and other selections from the 1920's and 1930's, to honor the musical treasures at Maple Grove: Jimmy Rushing, LaVerne Baker, Tony Sbarbaro and many others. The audience was enraptured and greatly pleased with the performance. Bill Gati is truly a musical treasure of our time.
Our event was brought to life by Bill Gati! His talent, knowledge and personal touches made for a wonderful day. Our guests told us the day was a real hit, and all complemented Bill's entertainment. Bill's range from the bossanova to ballroom was just perfect for our crowd. Bill will be our first choice for our next affair. Don't hesitate to book him, you will not be disappointed.
as a fellow artist,I can say, talent such as Bills is hard to find, and most enjoyable to experience.
Bill Gati is one of the best piano and saxaphone player I have ever had the privilege of hiring for our Fundraising Dinner. We received many compliments and look forward to having him back again next year! I highly recommend him for your venues.
