What to expect

Bill Dempsey will arrive early to set up and adhere to the time schedule agreed on. Costume: Bill has numerous costumes to select from. What is your theme? Options: tux, dark suit & tie, casual jacket no tie, Aloha! shirt, nautical theme, western theme, etc. Bill does not drink alcohol onstage, before, or after the gig. During the gig cannot eat anything (it gets in the harmonica). Several P.A. systems are available depending on the size of venue, number or people, inside or outside.

About

Bill Dempsey delights audiences of all ages with songs of the sea and shore, Hawaiian songs, tropical songs, train songs, cowboy songs, swing songs, classic rock, acoustic rock, and more. His music is "G" rated and fun for the whole family. Bill has performed for audiences large and small on radio, TV, stages of all kinds, out at sea, on a hay wagon, at backyard barbecues, on the beach, in homes large and small, casinos, clubs, coffee houses and more. He began studying music when he was 9 years old. Bill was hired for his first professional gig when he was still in jr. high school. Originally a trombone player he has gone from All State Band in high school, to being hired to perform for the President of the United States! Bill is a multi-instrumentalist as both a teacher and performer. Primarily performing as a singer, guitarist, ukulele player these days he also performs on 5 string banjo and mountain dulcimer. He has won numerous awards on all of these instruments. He has a B.A. in Music Education and 3 teaching credentials (2 from California and 1 from New Jersey). He has performed extensively on both the east and west coast and few places in between. Where ever he has performed his music will ad style, class, and a smile to all who listen.
