We play hit after hit of your country favorites, covering the 80’s – 90’s with a few newer / older hits. We focus on keeping your crowd entertained and scootin’ boots across the dance floor, all the while singing along to their favorite songs. We know that every event is unique and special so we work closely with event planners to tailor our performance to what you need! We have sets for a nice relaxing dinner party where the band is just background music, or if you want your guests out on the dance floor having a wild time then we have that covered too!
Bill Ashmore Country is a high-energy, fun-loving group that can turn any event into a Party. We have played for many different kinds of events from local bars / restaurants to backyard private parties. We cover a wide variety of your honky tonkin' favorites: George Strait, Dwight Yoakam, Toby Keith, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, and more. We can also throw in a few classic rock dance tunes as well.
This Dade City, Florida native and current Middle Tennessee resident brings a powerful voice with a strong delivery to every event. Not content to just “hide” behind his guitar and sing into the microphone, there is no doubt that Bill loves performing and putting on a show. Whether it’s the intensity he shows while singing or his commanding stage presence, Bill loves giving you a performance that has you hanging on every note and hungry for the next.
For the past several years, Bill has been performing in various venues in Nashville and the surrounding counties. Included in Bill’s many credits of winning various local talent contests, is taking 1st place at the 2002 Hernando County Florida Fair Talent Contest, which encouraged him to follow his passion in music.
Currently, Bill is the lead singer of his Band: Bill Ashmore and The Last Stand, made up of former and current Nashville road and studio session players, currently on rotation at multiple venues in the Nashville area.
Bill’s showcase schedule is quickly expanding as this talented artist continues to gain more recognition and a swelling fan base that has his career in country music looking very bright indeed.
