I was born and raised in Toledo, Oh., and my family moved to Alabama when I was 11 years old. My early upbringing was diffucult due to my mothers drug addiction, and my fathers absence. I met my father when I was 8 years old, and he had become a preacher. While in middle school and high school I perodically preached sermons, led songs, and read poems during service. Also while in high school I wrote poems for my friends to give to their girlfriends, and performed in plays. After graduating from high school in 2000 I was pulled in by the lure of the street life until i entered college in 2002. My first time ever performing spoken word was at Stillman College in Tuscaloosa. I released my first cd "Flowetry-N-Motion" in 2005 and began traveling and performing professionally. I also have 3 other cds "The Soul Of A Man", "Critically Acclaimed", and "#Swavor". Since 2005 I've done paid shows in Birmingham, St. Louis, Florida, Chattanooga, Cinncinatti, Detroit, Mississippi, Cleveland, Atlanta, Augusta, Nashville, Illinois, and Indianapolis to name a few. I hosted a monthly poetry showcase in Alabama for 4 years called Mic Check. I'm a 3 time poetry slam champion, and I've been nominated for Alabama spoken word artist of the year the past 2 years. I've performed at concerts, weddings, funerals, boys clubs, churches, and birthday parties. I've opened for and promoted concerts for Rich Homie Quan, Doe B, Boosie, Calvin Richardson, Sir Charles, and Fantasia. I've also hosted, promoted, and perfomed with poetry greats Georgia Me, Black Ice, Red Storm, and Sunni Patterson to name a few. In 2016 I booked a 30 city tour, and in 2017 I booked a 40 city tour with no manager or agent. My poems are soul stirring, insightful, and entertaining.
