Big Cat Face Painting

For face painting gigs, I arrive a half hour before the event start time to prepare my station with my own signage and all of my own painting supplies and disposables. From an event planner, I need access to a sink with running water somewhere nearby, a garbage can and a table with two chairs. Depending on the designs requested, I can complete 15-20 faces an hour of small designs or 6-10 faces an hour of larger, more intricate full-face designs. For efficiency, I am able to complete more faces per hour if there is a preset menu of designs. Ask me about designing a menu of pre-approved face painting options before your event!

Hello, I’m Joey! I am a freelance face painter and artist based in Vancouver, BC servicing birthday parties, carnivals, fairs, concerts and both private and public celebrations of all sorts in the Lower Mainland. I am experienced in working with children and adults alike, and am versed in a variety of designs including but not limited to: animals, florals, TV & movie characters, and ornamental decals. I am able to work with a limited, pre-determined menu of approved designs or on a case-by-case request basis on the spot. My experience in face painting is propelled by my experience as an illustrator and a painter by trade, altogether I have spent hundreds of hours behind a paint brush. I’m flexible and adaptable to suit the needs of your event and committed to creating high quality work with safe, non toxic materials in a way that leaves each guest satisfied and confident in the art they will walk away with!
