Akron's First Lady of the Keyboards provides Elegant Music for Elegant Events.. including yours! Private Parties, weddings, and receptions are just a few events that Beverly can enhance with her impressive repertoire. She can provide entertainment in many ways., including as a solo jazz pianist, in a duo configuration with TWICE AS NICE with singer Kathy Rowland (We refer to ourselves as Senior Living Specialists); there's the Bev Blass Jazz Trio; The Bev Blass Jazz Quartet (1 horn) and the full fledged jazz ensemble adds another horn and singer, Kathy Rowland, if you desire vocals. Our full group is perfect to entertain at Country Club, night clubs and events on a large scale.

One of the best decisions we made for our wedding

Our guests couldn't say enough great things about Beverly. While we weren't there during cocktail hour to hear her ourselves, we heard her song list charmed our attendees with hits from Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, and more. When I asked what I could say about Beverly in a review, they said, 'Definitely 5 stars, and hang onto her phone number. If you have any more events in the future, book her.'

Wonderful talent! Amazing to work with!

We hired Bev for our June 19, 2021 wedding. She provided beautiful background piano music for our cocktail hour and then transitioned to playing with her Jazz Band for amazing reception music. Bev was so easy to work with! She made herself readily available for all of my questions and took time to come to our wedding rehearsal to work out location and set up details ahead of time. Bev was wonderfully supportive of our song selection for our first dance, which was not in the jazz genre. The band played a number of special songs--from Irish to Motown--that showcased their incredible versatility. We were so lucky to have her and the band be a part of our special day! I cannot recommend Bev highly enough!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Bev and her partners did an excellent job for our Roaring Twenties party - even donning twenties type costumes to add to our enjoyment. Their "Gangster" and "Flapper" costumes fit right in with our crowd. Great time was had by all. Bev was extremely easy to work with during the trying times of Covid 19 cancellations and reschedules.

I highly recommend this group.

About

In the last 40 years, I've played piano for dance bands, jazz bands, cotillions, debutante balls, weddings, presidential balls, open air concerts, country club events, golf outings, school events and restaurants in the Akron area. I provide professional music service whether it is a featured event or atmospheric background music. Besides being a soloist, I am also half of "Twice As Nice" with Kathy Rowland. We specialize in performing the best loved "oldies" at senior residential facilities. My second audio example is a little taste of what we do.
