They played at our wedding mass plus cocktail hour. The group was outstanding! Very professional, sounded great, extremely responsive, easy to work with, and flexible with song requests. They helped coordinate with church music director were very accommodating with our family member who is a professional vocalist. The guests raved about them as well. Would 100% recommend!!!!

In every performance by Best in Brass musicians, you can expect expertly performed instrumental music from virtuoso classical and orchestral musicians--setting and elevating the proper tone for your event. From Classic Strings to Classic Brass, custom combinations or our full orchestra, quality service and performances are our number one priorities
Beyond the high-level performance you and your guests are sure to enjoy, the musicians in our band are seasoned pros with countless years of combined experience performing in top professional orchestras, at concert halls, Disney and other theme parks, Broadway tours, and more. We want to help you as much as possible and always work to make event planning and execution smooth and painless for our clients.
At the end of the day, our primary goal is to make sure everyone at your event is entertained, musically gratified, and leaves with great memories from a time well had! Based on your vision for live music at your event, we will work with you to make it a reality. About
First formed in 2019 by Music Directors Joey & William, Best in Brass began as a group of Orlando's top call symphony brass musicians performing for private events. The initial success of Best in Brass's live musical endeavors and client-first service led to the expansion of the brass ensemble to become a full orchestra collective, including strings and other orchestral instruments.
In addition to performing for weddings and other private events, Best in Brass has become well regarded with musicians and arts organizations as an orchestra collective for concerts and recording sessions.
Best in Brass was voted No. 1 Live Entertainment by readers of Orlando Magazine for their 2022 Best of Wedding Awards and has been a recipient of The Knot's Best of Weddings award. They have been featured in Orange Blossom Bride and Orlando Magazine and on (link hidden), (link hidden), (link hidden), and (link hidden). As well as many weddings, private parties, and corporate events, recent full orchestral performances have included concerts at the Citrus Club and with Orlando Sings and recording sessions at Starke Lake Studios.
Outside of playing together under the Best in Brass banner, the musicians of Best in Brass perform frequently in top professional orchestras in the Southeast and at Orlando theme parks. They have years of experience performing for Broadway touring shows and at top concert venues in Florida and beyond. You may have heard and seen our players live at the Disney parks, on Disney+ (yes, we are really on there), and in concert halls on stage. They have shared the stage with Yo-Yo Ma and Andrea Bocelli on several occasions, to name just a couple of the famous musicians you might have heard of.
Best in Brass partners with Orlando's coolest jazz band, The Yo Cats, for weddings and other events, offering clients the opportunity to mix and match top-tier classical and jazz musicians all in one event. In addition to performing as an orchestra collective, we are also able to offer DJ services in between sets, microphones and PA system for ceremonies, and other amplified sound needs.
Additional booking notes
One of the great things about booking any Best in Brass ensemble or musician is that the technical requirements for setting up are minimal. Brass instruments are entirely acoustic, can play a wide range of volumes from soft (you might be surprised how tastefully soft we can play when needed or requested) to loud, and can play indoors or outdoors and be heard well. String instruments usually do not require amplification for events with 100 guests or fewer. However, amplifying our ensemble is an additional professional service we are able to provide to you.
We have DJ equipment and can run sound, play recorded music, and provide microphones as an additional service upon request.
Usually, all you will need to provide for us is adequate space for our musicians to play and when possible a good acoustic space. If amplification is requested or required, we will require access to power outlets for our equipment. Typically, all we really need are chairs and music stands for most of our engagements. If you don't have chairs and stands, it's no problem. We can bring our own.
Very rarely, we may require something additional and we will be sure to let you know!
