Ben Clifton Jazz Trio based in Houston, TX. The band has played at several staples in the Houston Music Scene including Cezanne Jazz Club, Cafeza, Axelrad, Fig and Olive at the Galleria, Kulture Restaurant, Phil and Derek's, The Ready Room, The Dunlavy, and The Flat just to name a few. Available for private and corporate events. Repertoire includes songs from the great American song books as well as Motown, Funk, and Pop classics. Song requests are welcomed. Additional instrumentation to the group (such as saxophone, trumpet, or guitar) is also available for an additional charge.

The Ben Clifton Trio is a professional jazz band that will help create an atmosphere to make your event a success! Expect good communication prior to the event, on-time arrival, quick and efficient band setup, and efficiency in meeting the specific needs of your event per any requests you may have.
Ben Clifton, an emerging music talent, is a pianist shaped by the Pittsburgh jazz scene who now lives in Houston, TX. Clifton has played with several of Houston's finest jazz musicians including Saxophonist Woody Witt and Grammy-Award Winning Bassist of the Band La Mafia Tim Ruiz, the bass player for Clifton's trio. Clifton studied jazz composition with famed pianists Geri Allen and Frank Cunimundo and also is an integral member of Houston's flourishing jazz scene.
