Amber Gamal began studying the art of belly dance in 2002. She was immediately drawn in by the combination of slow snake-like movements, fast staccato hip isolations, the exotic rhythms of middle eastern music, the glamorous costumes and the feeling of empowerment which learning this ancient art form can create.
Over the years Amber has studied with several talented and famous belly dancers of multiple styles which has influenced her unique, artistic interpretations of the dance.
Specializing in American cabaret improvisation, Amber can perform a 20-30 minute set showcasing all elements of belly dance including fast upbeat rhythms, slow sensual rhythms, challenging floor-work and pop & lock percussion. The use of props such as finger cymbals, veil, sword, cane, Goddess wings, fire tray and candles are definitely audience pleasers!
Amber Gamal performs family-friendly shows in Middle Eastern restaurants, on stage at belly dance events, local festivals and you can hire Amber to surprise the guest of honor at your next party. Your little princess can even enjoy a Princess Jasmine themed birthday party complete with a mini lesson for her and friends!
Want to learn how to belly dance? Amber Gamal began instructing in 2009 and can teach anyone how to belly dance, regardless of age, size or background. Group lessons, private lessons or "Ladies Night Out" parties are a great way to learn the ancient art of belly dance!

Many dancers will bring an assistant, such as a friend or spouse, to help with props, costuming, parking, etc. as well as to provide added safety. You will not be expected to include them in your guest list, they will just blend into the background.

Amber will provide her own CD or IPod. It is preferred that the venue has a good sound system that can be used, otherwise she will bring a portable speaker with her to the location of your event.
