As BellaTheHarpist, I bring elegance, warmth, and unforgettable ambiance to every event I perform—especially weddings. When your guests arrive, they’ll be greeted by the soothing, romantic sound of the harp, creating a beautiful atmosphere before a single word is spoken.

My performance is visually stunning and acoustically enchanting: a classically trained harpist in gorgeous attire, with a gorgeous concert harp that adds a sophisticated touch to any setting—indoors or outdoors.

If a client hires me, they’re not just booking a harpist—they're securing peace of mind. I offer professionally curated wedding packages designed to suit different parts of the day:

Ceremony Package: Includes prelude music as guests arrive, your selected processional and recessional songs, and background music during any signing or readings.

Ceremony + Cocktail Hour Package: Extends the experience with light, elegant background music during the cocktail hour or drinks reception.

Bella began her harp journey at the age of five under Laurie Muirhead. She later studied with Anita Burroughs-Price, the esteemed harpist of the North Carolina Symphony, who has been a continuous mentor throughout her career.

Bella expanded her training by learning from Andrea Blanchfield and Elzbieta Szmyt, Professor of Harp at Indiana University, during the Summer Harp Academy. In 2021, she studied under Judith Schiller in Vienna, further deepening her skills. Bella returned and graduated from Furman University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Anthropology.

She now shares her talent at weddings, corporate events, ceremonies, and holiday gatherings, creating memorable experiences with her music. Bella's unique ability to connect with her clients allows her to craft bespoke musical experiences. She takes the time to understand their preferences and infuses their personalities into her performances, making every event an unforgettable one.

Important Information

To ensure a smooth and elegant performance, please review the following important details about my services and setup requirements:

Booking & Payment:

A 50% non-refundable deposit is due within two weeks of returning the signed contract in order to secure your date.

The remaining balance is due one month prior to the event date. Please note that if final payment is not received by this deadline, I will not be able to perform.

Performance Requirements:

I bring all necessary equipment, including my harp, bench, music stand, Ipad, and tripod for recording some content.

Good lighting is essential for reading music and ensuring the best performance quality.

If your event is outdoors, I require:

Wind speeds below 15 mph – high winds can damage the harp if the music stand falls over and affect performance.

No rain or high humidity – the harp is a delicate wooden instrument and cannot be exposed to moisture.

A solid rain plan must be in place in case of inclement weather. This can be an indoor location or a fully covered, sheltered space.

Accessibility & Setup:

My harp is large and delicate, so I require an elevator or ramp if the performance area is not on ground level—this is essential for both safety and logistics.

I will arrive anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half early to set up and warm up.
