Beerwine King

We provide a set that mixes blues, rock and roll, hip-hop, indie rock, funk, and psychedelic. We bring all our own equipment, draw our own flyers, and pay for our own promotion. Furthermore, we bring our own lights and, if permitted, fog machine. We also have a strong local following of friends and family. We usually play a set of about 45 minutes. In the past we have cut or extended our set to fit the venue. We also can change the mood of our set depending on the venue; for instance, we played a low-key instrumental set at Era Bar to fit the lounge-like atmosphere of the venue.

Beerwine King is an Indie Rock band out of Oakland, CA. Jake, Tj, and Mike, grew up together in Stockton, California and have been playing music together since they were pre-teens. After playing in numerous bands together and separately throughout the Central Valley, the trio ended up in Oakland by coincidence. It was imminent that they form a band together and push their limits. Beerwine King is a product of deep Central Valley roots and Bay Area intensity. Their sound is a gritty San Joaquin Delta blues mixed with San Francisco psychedelic and a funky Oakland attitude.

We are a three piece and need to be provided with a P.A. and three microphones. We have our own guitar amplifiers, drum set, and lighting.
