B.B. Photography

So, how does it all work? What should you expect if you decide you want to think about booking a session with B.B. Photography?

First, I highly suggest that you read through all of the info on this website. Many of your questions can be answered in the FAQs. Should you decide that you want to move forward with the process, reach out via the contact form or email directly : (email hidden)

Once we get in touch, I will send you a questionnaire and then we will schedule a pre shoot consultation. This will be via Zoom, phone, or in person, depending on ease and availability. During the consultation, we will take about 20 minutes or so to chat, get to know each other a tad and go over any questions you may have and build your session together. We will also discuss the contract, among other technical matter to ensure that we are both on the same page and know what to expect.

It is incredibly important to me that you are as comfortable as possible, and that your session is a wonderful experience for you. I want you to know that you can trust me to always respect your wishes and that your consent is paramount to me.

The consultation is also important so that we can be as efficient as possible on the day of the session. During a marathon weekend, for example, there are often scheduled appointments back to back for shoots, and the more efficient we are, the more we can easily and effortlessly stick to the timeline.

Once we decide we want to work together, I will send you a contract and an invoice for your non refundable retainer. As soon as the contract is signed and the retainer is paid, your session date and time will be reserved. Between that time and the session, you will receive a client prep sheet and are free to reach out with any questions you may have.

On the day of, we will meet at the location. Music will be playing, and water and snacks will be available. We will practice some deep breathing. After a few minutes of getting settled and relaxed, you will get dressed (or undressed) and shooting will commence. During the shoot, I will direct and guide you into poses and positions that you are comfortable with that accentuate your form.

Two to three weeks after the session, we will schedule a reveal via Zoom or in person where I will share your gallery with you and you decide which ones you like per your package. If you want to purchase more digital images, you can – either 1 or the entire gallery. Once all photos are paid for, I will release your digital images to you along with a print release.

And then, we are done! You are free to enjoy the photos of your fabulous self and hopefully feel like a million bucks!

I fell in love with photography when I was a teenager, and over the past decade, I’ve been learning, and practicing and doing and finding my eye and fine tuning my photographic vision.

I have shot everything from events to families to weddings to maternity to seniors to boudoir and found that my passion lies in empowerment photography, with a foundation in beauty and boudoir.

As someone who has struggled with my self image since my youth, I find beauty/boudoir sessions incredibly uplifting and empowering! After my first following the birth of my oldest child, I unexpectedly felt like a million bucks.

Since then, I have always encouraged everyone I know to have one!

I love working closely with clients -from the first contact through to long after the gallery has been delivered- to empower them and help them smile in a new way.

I am a mom of 3, and happily married to my fellow photographer husband, Eric. We live in Southern Vermont and love to travel. I am a lover of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
