I will make sure I get all the details necessary before the event. Arrive promptly for said event/project, set up my space to work in an efficient manor. I am all about creating a safe space for everyone, and at the end of the day I am there to make sure I do my best to appease the client and make sure they are happy and feel beautiful inside and out!

Hello!
I am Milana Bryan, the founder and owner of Batwing Beauty Bar and I am honored to be your Beautician.
A little about me, I have always had a passion for creativity, and giving the people around me the opportunity to find their true, individual beauty. I started my journey as a makeup artist when I was only 13 years old, waking up at 4:30am to do Halloween Makeup for friends before school started! After high school my passion only grew stronger and before I knew it I was a Blanche Macdonald Global Makeup graduate in 2016. After completing an apprenticeship with international company Make-Up Forever I then pursued freelance work and am proud to have photoshoots published in Gilded Magazine, Glamouria Magazine, and X-Pression Magazine. I did make up for fashion shows for designers such as Ruhiv, D’Lure, and Atelier Grandi and face/body painting for functions such as Diner en Blanc at Butchart Gardens, festivals and much more! I relocated back to Victoria, and had the opportunity to start working with MisMacK Clean Cosmetics since they opened their Victoria location in September 2021. Currently still working with MisMacK and under my own brand now as I am building my own beauty empire and loving what I do making people feel empowered and beautifully yourself!

-Wedding Makeup I will do a in person or zoom consultation before the wedding day there is a non-refundable deposit for that day that will go towards your special day total. I do offer light styling of hair for added cost. Lashes are included in the cost if you want them, and I provide you with a little care package for your touch ups later on in your night! The care package includes some loose powder, and the lipstick colour we use to make sure you are photo ready at all times on your special day.
-Photoshoot/Runway Makeup includes a zoom consultation before the function to talk about what you are wanting. A non-refundable deposit is required before the event date as I will be working on the face charts for you to look at and approve before the said date to make sure it is what you envision.
-Body painting gigs are based hourly rates. and a non-refundable deposit that will go towards the final day total. This is because we will have a consultation prior to function to get full idea of what you are wanting to create, I will make body/face charts to portray ideas we talked about and will decide on the final looks prior to function date to make sure its what you are envisioning. I provide nipple pasties for the day, but ask you provide your own seamless 'nude' colour underwear for full body painting (thong is preferred for seamless application but obviously get underwear that makes you feel most comfortable to be in).
-I have my own lights I bring with me and my own foldable work station to work out of.
