Fusion Hawaiian Reggae / Soul Trio / 4 piece band
I'm a Tropical / Studio Bassist specializing in Reggae, Soca, Ska, and some Country / Rock & Blues, rooted in Gospel. Most recent work has been working with groups doing "Country / Rock and R&B gone Reggae" projects / recordings. My playing features an indescribable 'fat,' rootsy pulse, instantly recognizable for its deep, bubbly feel. I craft catchy, distinctive, and deceptively simple bass lines. With a master arranger's ear, infectious "Good-Vybes-Only" I prioritize space, melodic hooks, and a heavy 'roots' pocket to create irresistible, earworm basslines. Like Aston 'Family Man' Barrett, I make the complex feel effortless, delivering a profoundly simple yet endlessly interesting sound.
