Jon Blessing is a Milwaukee based Instrumentalist specializing in the bass guitar and upright bass. Jon works on the scene with all types of music. From neo-funk, jazz fusion, and R&B, to prog and heavy metal. Jon Blessing is the go to when it comes to having a solid, pocket musician. Perhaps you need to add a little bit of soloistic color? Jon's got you covered there too. From tap to slap, to just laying down a groove (or perhaps a traditional concerto), Jon can do it all.

Jon broke onto the music scene as a young gifted musician at the age of 10. From there, he quickly moved around learning the tricks of the trade from many of Milwaukee's most experienced musicians. Playing in countless groups and touring bands, as well as pit orchestras and classical jazz ensembles, the Blessing name expanded across the Midwest, gaining the reputation of an accountable and adaptable musician. Through experiences playing with early R&B Artists such as Harold Stewart and 12 piece horn bands such as Mike Pope and the Papal Schism, Jon has been able to learn a whole new language in music that can't simply be taught in a classroom.

​Jon had the opportunity of expanding both his skills and repertoire at the world famous Berklee College of Music in Boston. He is currently continuing course study through Berklee College of Music's online school, Berklee Online.
