About
Currently I study trombone with Mr. Ira Nepus with focus on Jazz and performance trombone.
Since 2012, I have played trombone with the Ventura Jazz Orchestra (VJO) holding the Bass Trombone Chair as well as subbing with numerous bands. In 2016 I became the bass trombonist with the Jimmy McConnell Big Band
One element of performing that I find interesting is watching the dancers on the floor. The way various dance couples engage while the band plays a tune some how brings out a bit of magic to the performance.
