Bardic Inspiration will work with organizers to tailor a beautiful musical experience that will produce many happy memories for their guests:
- During the holiday season, carolers in Victorian costumes will sing a variety of well-known and loved Christmas carols indoors and outdoors, in a concert format or as strolling carolers.
- For weddings, professional singers will serenade the couple with romantic compositions and/or beautiful sacred works.
- For festivals and receptions, a professional a cappella group will regale guests with entertaining Renaissance style love songs, folk songs, drinking songs, and sea shanties.

Bardic Inspiration will work with event planners to develop a program to suit the event, be it wedding or church service, or reception, festival, or holiday entertainment.
After the initial contact, we will respond quickly with any questions, and then we may take a few days to ensure that our singers are available at that time before providing a quote. Both before and after securing the contract, we will work with the event organizer to come up with a program to best suit the event. We make it a point to keep communication channels open at all times, and to respond quickly to any questions or concerns, so that the we are on the same page at all times. The group typically arrives 30 minutes prior to the performance start time to connect with the organizer and ensure that everything is ready.
Bardic Inspiration offers romantic songs and beautiful sacred music, as well as Renaissance music, sea shanties, pub sings, and Christmas carols. We can also take song requests, if requested with sufficient advanced notice (if there are no copyright issues). Singers can wear performance blacks, Renaissance costumes, or Victorian caroling costumes depending on the event. Singing can be stationary (concert style), or strolling and singing and can last from 1 to 4 hours. If the event requires singing continuously for more than an hour, we will incorporate breaks approximately every hour. We can lead the audience in singalongs, or sing as background to provide ambiance to other festivities.
We can bring our own mics and speakers if necessary. We can bring booklights if lighting is low, and can sing indoors or outdoors in any season.
Bardic Inspiration was founded in 2025 to give professionally-trained musicians and singers the opportunity to entertain Michigan-area residents in small a cappella groups. Quartets perform Christmas carols, and quintets perform Renaissance, fantasy-themed, shanties, pub-sing style music for festivals, conventions, churches, weddings, and parties. Singers wear Victorian caroling costumes, Renaissance costumes, or concert blacks.
Bardic Inspiration sings a cappella without instruments, and usually without microphones. We do not provide staging, lighting, or sound. However, if amplification is needed we can provide microphones with speakers. We can perform anywhere there is room for 4 people to stand together, and we can move to different locations, or stroll and sing.
