Barb and her impressive guitar playing provided the most wonderful ambience for my parents’ intimate 50th anniversary dinner party. Barb’s prompt communication and friendly personality were evident right from the start and she took my vision for the evening into careful consideration as she worked to fit into it seamlessly. Barb suggested she play alongside a singing musician colleague and the duo proved to be the perfect pair for our event. The private room for our dinner was quite a small space and when I communicated to Barb my concerns about whether or not she would have sufficient space to play, Barb took it upon herself to speak to the restaurant managers to be sure the space would work. I so appreciated Barb taking the initiative to help me work that out. Barb and her singing partner provided such top notch talent throughout our event. Barb welcomed all my song choice suggestions ahead of time and she carefully worked them just right into the flow of our two hour dinner party. Barb was so considerate and thoughtful, making sure the volume in the small space was just right so my family was still able to engage in conversation while the music played. Booking the duo for our small dinner party of just nine guests felt like a splurge, however, our celebration would NOT NEARLY have been as enjoyable or memorable without Barb. Without Barb and her singing friend’s beautiful music, our evening would have been dull and filled with awkward silence. Barb not only eliminated any opportunity for uncomfortable silence but she also brought so much joy to my parents, playing their favorite 60’s-70’s hits and songs from their wedding. Barb and her singing friend were so kind to my family, sweet to my children, accommodating in every way, and an absolute delight to work with. Choosing Barb to provide our entertainment was the best decision and the key element to our special celebration.
