About
B&B Express Band was formed in the early 80's in Overtown by current members. Allen Lee, Bobby Williams Jr., and a few other associates. The original line up consisted of four guys and a girl. Quickly establishing themselves as hard working, dedicated FUNK musicians. the band grew in popularity and secured several high-Profile gigs, Performing for National headliners like Bobby Stringer, Bobby Womack and the Ohio Players!.
The Current Line-up consists of Vocalists; Skyy Rose, and original member Allen Lee on vocals and Bass and trombone and original member Bobby Williams Jr. on drums and percussion!.
The latest incarnation blends Funk, Soul and R&B music, creating a unique Vibe of yesterdays and todays music that audiences love! Solid grooves, tight harmonies and soaring vocals take you on a journey of mind body spirit... are you ready to "Ride the Funk!"?
