We have a very large library of songs that we play, we take requests, and are able to learn specific songs needed for your event.

Banda Primera Generación is a banda estilo sinaloense based in Southern California, formed in 2021. Made up of young, first-generation Mexican Americans, we combine our formal music education with the music we grew up listening to with our parents.
Whether it’s a wedding, quinceañera, private party, school assembly, or local event, Banda Primera Generación delivers solid, high-energy performances that connect with the crowd. We play a mix of classics and current hits, always aiming to put on a show that feels both familiar and fresh.

For private events in homes, we require a 15'x10' space to set up the stage, access to electricity, and a parking spot in front or close to the venue so that we can unload.

We’re influenced by legendary bandas like Banda El Recodo, La Arrolladora, and Banda MS, whose sounds shaped the style we play. At the same time, we bring in inspiration from contemporary artists and the traditional genres our families grew up with, blending traditional and modern elements to create our own sound.
