Thank you so much for this amazing review of our quartet. We had such a blast singing for all of you and loved the immediate feed back we were able to receive just by seeing your faces.
We appreciate that you allowed us to share in Jean’s special birthday. It was an honor.
Sincerely, balancing Act Quartet

Balancing Act was grateful to be invited to your celebratory luncheon and to have the opportunity to honor the Order of the Eastern Star members in song; which is the best way possible that we can show, and share, our love of barbershop music.
The audience was so attentive and we always know when we are making a connection as we saw many of the members singing along with us. After our performance they were extremely complementary; engaging us in conversation and stories.
Thank you for having faith in us,
Balancing Act Quartet

The venue was beautiful, and everyone seemed to be having a great time! We really enjoyed singing for you, and were so glad it worked out even though we had to run afterwards for another gig! Thanks for your hospitality and we hope to work with you again!

August 27, 20181920's Model-T Day Enhanced by The Balancing Act Quartet
Four Lovely Ladies dressed in their finest flapper attire entertain over 500 at Fosterfields Model-T Event in Morristown on Saturday Aug.25. Strolling through the living history farm and stopping at varies locations to harmonize wonderful and varied selections from the '20s. As a Barber Shop Quartet, "The Balancing Act" are a delightful surprise, "ladies" mixing among the antique cars, as their voices filled the air. Once indoors the Willows, our old manor home, the acoustics perfected their performance of patriotic and light-hearted tunes.

We had a WONDERFUL time at this event! The people attending were so responsive, and it was obvious that everyone had a very good time displaying and seeing all of the vintage autos, as well as enjoying the historic farm setting. It was a performance we will never forget!

What to expect
When people listen to us, they uniformly say that our music is fun and we look like we love what we do! We can tailor our performances to your event--from just a couple of songs for a special anniversary, birthday, or event to a whole show, or strolling "background" entertainment at a party or special venue! We have a number of patriotic and holiday songs in our repertoire as well, for those special times of year.
About
Our quartet, Balancing Act, initially came together in 2010 with a few different versions along the way. We are all members of Liberty Oak Chorus in Howell, NJ, an Internationally ranked women's barbershop chorus. Singing Tenor is Rebecca Sundt, with Mary Walaszek on Lead, Jennifer Wiseman on Baritone, and Jan Rubino as our Bass. We sing all kinds of music, from the 1930s through the current music, all a-cappella and in 4-part harmony. We require no audio equipment or special set-up--we can sing in any location, from outdoor events to meeting rooms to restaurants to weddings and beyond; wherever music would add to your special event! We are a competitive Quartet, but what we most enjoy is performing for people and making a connection with the audience. We are also a tight knit group of friends, which makes our music so much more believable.
Additional booking notes
We can sing anywhere, with no need for lighting, sound equipment, or any special arrangements. However, if it is a large outdoor venue, we could probably use a microphone so that any MC work is not lost.
