Babette Soleil has been dancing nearly her entire life. With over 15 years of training in ballet, jazz, and bellydance—and five years in tap—she brings both depth and versatility to her craft. As a young dancer, she was accepted into the prestigious Cuyahoga Valley Youth Ballet, performing in productions like The Nutcracker and Snow White. She later earned a full scholarship to the University of Akron’s Dance Institute before continuing her training at Love 2 Dance Studio in Ohio.

At Love 2 Dance, Babette flourished under the mentorship of Andrea Love, joining the competitive team and assisting in youth classes—where she discovered her passion for working with children and teaching.

Her talent and stage presence soon led her to the competitive bellydance circuit. She was crowned “Princess of Raks” in 2012, and between 2013–2017, earned top placements in national competitions including So You Think You Can Bellydance (Las Vegas, NV), Sherena’s Shakedown (Canton, OH), and the Essence of Bellydance (Atlanta, GA). In 2017, she performed with Jillina’s Bellydance Evolution in Atlanta and on the East Coast Tour of Fantasm.

Babette continues her professional development under Aziza of Montreal in the Year of You mentorship program. She also collaborates with her mother, Leyla Soleil, through their company Dance du Soleil, and serves as Creative Director for Amarya Dance Company with Atlanta Fusion Dance.

Known for her stage charisma, grace, and musicality, Babette performs with a wide range of props including sword, veil, fan veils, zills, cane, and LED isis wings.

Performance Terms & Requirements
To ensure a safe, professional, and seamless performance, Babette Soleil kindly requests the following:

💼 Performance Space & Setup
A private, secure space for changing and storing personal items.

A sound system capable of playing music via aux cord (or Bluetooth, if available).

A clean, level dance area free of hazards such as cords, broken glass, protruding nails/screws, mud, grass, or any surfaces that may cause injury or damage to the costume.

🌤️ Outdoor Performances
Babette does not perform in rain, on wet grass, or in muddy conditions.

For outdoor events, the performance surface must be approved in advance.

💰 Tips & Compensation
All tips given to Babette during the performance are hers to keep.

🚫 Event Restrictions
Babette does not perform at all male parties.

👥 Assistant Policy
Babette may be accompanied by an assistant to help with music, props, costume support, tip collection, and capturing video of performances to be used for marketing materials.
