Hello, I have been studying the art of belly dance for over 20 years. I have been to Egypt to study with talented dancers and musicians working with Arabic music. I have danced at Renaissance fairs, restaurants, bachelorette parties, Christmas Parties, Halloween events, weddings, birthday parties, graduation parties, wine tastings, senior living homes, retirement parties and religious events such as Eid Parties and during church services. Some of my performances have included historic education of the dance at the host request or just general information about the performance if there may be a prop like veil, wings of Isis, cane or sword or our musical instruments such as the finger cymbals. I love customizing my performances for your event as everyone is different each person has their own idea of what belly dance is to them and how they would like it at their event. I do play finger cymbals and the drum, dance with single & double veil, cane, sword, wings of Isis and silk fan veils but not all at the same time. I can perform to recorded or live music with improvisation or choreography. My troupe the Oasis Dancers are skilled with performing to choreography I have created. Our costumes are professional for cabaret type performances and we also have modest costumes available for that great folkloric look. Most of the music we dance to is suitable for the Egyptian style but also love working with Labanese, Turkish & Greek music. Let me know if you have any questions.

I can bring my own sound system if the room is small at no extra cost.
For larger events you may need to provide the sound system, I do have larger speakers they would be an additional expense and it would take me more time to set up and tear down. I need the music loud enough to hear over people talking or dishing clanking.
I do not require a stage to dance on but I do require a space around 9ftx9ft for performance unless you want me to perform in the crowd. This area will also dictate to what props I may perform with. Fan vails, wings, sword or veil may not work in small area surrounded by people or if the chairs are too close together.
