Ayana is an exceptional drummer and an absolute professional. She recently stepped in for our service while our regular drummer was recovering from surgery, and we couldn’t be more impressed. Not only is she incredibly skillful, but she also has a remarkable ability to adapt to the flow of the service and seamlessly switch between different musical styles. Ayanna went above and beyond, even making herself available beyond our contracted time, demonstrating her dedication and commitment. We will definitely be calling on her again, and if you're in need of a drummer, look no further—she's the woman for the job! Highly recommended!

We booked Ayana for a studio session with a rock band. She showed up prepared and was able to jump right into the songs we asked her to play, bringing her own creativity and technical chops to what we asked her to play. Ayana works well with a band, lays down a great groove, and is a consummate professional. Highly recommend, and will absolutely be working with Ayana again.

There are no shortage of great drummers in NYC. You can't walk down the street without tripping over one. That being said, Ayana possesses several traits that make her stand out from the pack. Aside from having the technical skills needed to play her instrument at a professional level, she has a great pocket. In addition, she has the ability to hold back and just groove instead of playing gratuitous fills and needlessly complicated parts. And her ability to learn quickly and retain information is top notch. She just save the day for me recently by filling in for my regular drummer, after not gigging with me for 6 months and having no rehearsal.

If all of that isn't enough, she's always early, prepared and one of the easiest people to get along with. I hire her every chance I get. You should too.
