I believe in the proven statement of "Know your audience", and it is the worship leaders role to lead that group of people with the approach and musical style that they will best respond to. I am experienced with leading congregations of multiple generations in a variety of settings. Even to the point of taking timeless hymns and presenting them in a way that is fresh and relevant, without compromising the melody or lyrics. What matters most to me is that God is glorified by His people with authentic hearts and that we know Him for who he truly is.
