Austin Grimm is a multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter who is known for his infectious good energy and songs that make you feel good and think deeper. After a spending a decade leading the jam/rock/reggae band Roots of a Rebellion (or ROAR) in Nashville, TN tour the country and release a #1 Billboard Album in 2019, Austin began pursuing a solo career along with teaching private music. His move back home to St. Louis in 2025 set the stage for a beautiful new beginning with the release of his debut album "Garden of Youth" and the formation of his band "The Gold Souls" which is a folk/pop/island infused sound that simply makes you love life as much as Austin does!

A lover of many styles of music and a true believer in the healing power of music, Austin Grimm has been writing and singing songs since the age of ten. He spent a decade as the leader of the band Roots of a Rebellion (or ROAR) based out of Nashville, TN who heavily toured the U.S. and released a #1 Billboard Album called "Shapes of a Soul” in 2019.
Since the band’s hiatus in 2020, Austin has been pursuing other passions and developing as a teacher. Whether it’s private music lessons (guitar, ukulele, bass, piano and drums), outdoor education/conservation efforts, or teaching yoga, Austin is beyond blessed to be able to share his love for music, nature and mindfulness with people of all ages.
Fast forward to 2025 and Austin and his wife Taylor moved to St. Louis, MO to be closer to family as their immediate family is growing :)
Austin has hit the ground running, performing all over town, releasing a new album called "Garden of Youth" and forming a new 5 piece band called "Them Gold Souls" comprised of drums, bass, keys, pedal steel and guitar.
Austin is inspired and uplifted by his family, friends, and fans as he aims to inspire others to follow their bliss and work hard to lead a meaningful life!

A mix of covers and originals that spans several genres and styles from instrumental fingerstyle/classical guitar to singing Jim Croce, James Taylor, John Mayer, Jimmy Cliff and Bob Marley. With the five piece band (or even bigger) we can really bring the conscious party! Drums, bass, keys, steel guitar and acoustic guitar with three part harmony vocals.
